Juggle your boarding pass and driver’s license, remove your shoes, belt and jacket, place your cell phone, electronic reading device and 3-ounce bottle of shampoo in the plastic bin and toss your purse onto the conveyor belt. Go through security, then gather up the bits before your pants fall down and someone runs off with your wallet.

Who needs all this annoyance? In a new slide show on Bing Travel, we explore 10 airports and flight experiences that reduce the hassle associated with going through security.

Did you know, for example, that you can fly between Seattle and the San Juan Islands without taking off your shoes and putting them through an X-ray machine? Do it by flying out of Boeing Field. You can also fly from New Bedford, Mass., to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard with normal-size containers of liquid soap, shampoo and toothpaste.

In New Zealand, passengers flying domestically on planes with fewer than 90 seats typically don’t get screened at the airport. That way, when you fly in or out of the Rotorua International Airport , you’ll have more time to relax and enjoy your surroundings, which include 10 brightly colored Maori-style carvings in the terminal.

.Do you have a favorite airport or flight experience that is relatively hassle-free? Share your thoughts with other travelers in the comments section.
